POLICY DETAILS

Blufftop Inn & Suites is completely non-smoking. In order to avoid issues and provide all guests with a comfortable stay, we direct guests to smoke along the sidewalk of the property and away from the office. The entire property and every room at the hotel is non-smoking. Therefore, if any guests smoke, we recommend smoking along the sidewalk. This will ensure that the smoke does not travel into the room. If there is a smoke smell in the room, the guest will be charged applicable cleaning fees.

The property is NOT pet-friendly and pets are NOT permitted to stay within the rooms or within vehicles in the parking lot. If there are signs of a pet within the room (i.e. crates, beds, food/water bowls, pet hair, etc.) the guests will be charged applicable cleaning fees. We recommend guests traveling with pets stay at the various other hotels in Morro Bay that accept pets.

Check-in can occur at any time between 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM daily. The office closes at 10:00 PM so guests who have not checked-in or contacted the property for alternative check-in procedures will forfeit their reservation and be charged a one-night penalty as a no-show. The check-out time is at 11:00 AM on the day of check-out. Please keep in mind that all times are based on local times (Pacific Standard Time).

The cancellation policy is 72 hours prior to 3 PM on the day of arrival (Pacific Standard Time). For example, if you have a reservation for June 15th, the reservation needs to be cancelled before 3 PM on June 12th to avoid cancellation penalties. For cancellations within the 72-hour window, the penalty is the cost of the first night including all applicable taxes and fees, per room. This cancellation policy is applicable for reservations made directly through our hotel website. Reservations made through other channels or third-party websites will be subject to those respective and applicable cancellation policies.

This property is privately owned and the management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or for loss of money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind.  Once checked in, no cancellations.  All linens are inventoried: missing or damaged linens will be charged. Any damages to hotel property will be charged an additional fee upon assessment. If your reservation has been paid in advance or you elect to pay by cash, a security deposit via credit card will be required upon check-in and will be charged in the event that damages outlined herein occur.
